The girl in the picture is MARIANA EMSLIE, this talented artist lives on a farm near the picturesque village of Greyton, in the WESTERN CAPE province of SOUTH AFRICA. Mariana has a studio on the farm, and spends her day beiing an artist, wife, mother and friend.

Mariana gets her inspiration from the produce of the earth, the faces and figures of friends as well as the bounty from the sea and various other interesting subjects that catches her artistic eye.

This artist is known for her gifted use of form and colour, and is a woman of the earth. Mariana grew up in the OVERBERG, as this area is known, and qualified as a fashion designer in CAPE TOWN after which she spend time in the world of fashion, travelling the globe. Mariana has a cat, two dogs, two children, a husband and a vegetable garden, (mentioned in random order, not in order of merit).
